Do you live in the Seattle-Tacoma area?  Are you looking for a job, or do you ever expect to be looking for a job in the future?  Then get thee to the 2013 MOAA Military Spouse Symposium on Friday, 8 February 2013.  The event is from 9am to 3pm at the University of Washington Tacoma's Phillip Hall.

There is so much to love about this event.  Hours of great information about resume writing, hiring, education, networking, licensure and unemployment.  Lunch.  Free child care for potty trained children.  Resume critiquing.  Giveaways.  Doesn't that sound fabulous?  And guess what?  It is FREE!

This conference is open to military spouses, military service members, retirees and their spouses, and veterans and their spouses.  If you've got a military affiliation, you're probably welcome.  And while MOAA stands for the Military Officers Association of America, this event is open to all ranks.

I am so incredibly jealous that I can not go to this seminar.  I attended a few years back and it was really good, and I understand it has improved each year since then.  I'm still trying to wrangle a way to go - you might see me there.

Please report back and let us know if you went, and if it was as fun and valuable as I've promised.
