Some banks, including USAA and PMCU offer one day early direct deposit of military pay as a courtesy to their customers. Customers who typically see their pay deposited one day early should expect to have it deposited on Tuesday, 31 January 2012. Navy Federal customers who have an Active Duty checking account will see their deposit pending on Monday, 30 January to be posted overnight and available for use on Tuesday, 29 January. Heck, Service Credit Union deposits your pay up to two days early, depending on when they receive the information from DFAS.
No matter which bank or credit union you use, please don't panic if it isn't there first thing in the morning. It is a process and it takes time. Depending on a huge number of variables, the deposit time can vary from month to month. Rest assured that if your LES says that you are getting paid, you will nearly definitely see your pay deposited sometime by Wednesday.
