Trees for Troops 2011

This is the neatest deal and every year I am impressed.  A really nice organization called  The Christmas Spirit Foundation provides free Christmas trees for military families all over the United States.  The deliveries will start on 29 November (that's Tuesday) and continue until 9 December.    In conjunction with FedEx, the Trees for Troops program has delivered over 84,000 trees to military families since 2005.

The list of locations can be found at the Trees for Troops website's delivery list.

I would love to hear if any of my readers are able to take advantage of this awesome offer.  Christmas trees are so expensive, and it is a nice gesture to help families afford a little more cheer this holiday season.
