I get grief about this every time I write on the subject, but I also know that many military folks find this confusing or frustrating. The next military payday is this Friday, 13 May 2011. Some people, such as Navy Federal Active Duty Checking Account holders, may find their military pay deposited as early as tonight or tomorrow night. (Or they might not - don't panic!) Please know that the next military payday is not until Wednesday, 1 June 2011 - 19 days from this Friday AND over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Please plan your spending so that they money stretches until your next payday!
