MyCAA FAQs

The Military Education Blog here at Military.com has put together a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page concerning the MyCAA "pause."

Based upon what I have heard, the most frequently asked question is whether they will pay for classes that are already approved.  The answer depends on what you mean by "approved."  There are two different approval steps in the MyCAA process:  the career and training plan, and the individual class approval (sometimes referred to as the financial assistance approval.)  MyCAA is not accepting any new applications for either the training plan or the individual class financial assistance approval.  However, they will pay for classes that have already received their individual class financial assistance approval.  If you have received a letterheaded authorization for a specific class, MyCAA says that class will be paid.
