Every six months, review your auto insurance policy for potential savings and to make sure you have the appropriate amount of coverage.
You could qualify for discounts if:
- You're in the military and live on a military installation.
- Your teen driver makes good grades.
- You have a child who attends a school more than 100 miles away from home and doesn't have a car to drive.
Also make sure you have enough coverage to protect your assets if you were held responsible for an accident. Consider your annual income, your investments and the value of your home. They could be threatened if you are sued and your policy doesn't offer enough coverage.
