College Bootcamp Helps Vets Prepare for School

Helping service members, veterans and military families fulfill their dream of earning a college education is the purpose of the Inland Empire College Boot Camp, scheduled for Monday, April 22, 2013 at the University of California, Riverside Extension Center. The IE College Boot Camp will provide attendees the opportunity to meet and ask questions of experts from area colleges and community organizations. The program is the result of a partnership between UCR, and several local schools and colleges, including Cal State San Bernardino, Riverside City College, and the University of Redlands, as well as the California Department of Veterans Affairs and local VA Vet Centers.  It is free for military and veterans and includes lunch.
