Mortgage Help for Wounded Warriors

The Army announced this week that injured Soldiers may now have a 6-month grace period on their mortgages due to an agreement reached between the Army, Fannie Mae and several of the country's largest home financiers.

The forbearance agreement means that wounded warriors will not be forced into foreclosure or have their credit blemished if they fall behind during their recovery period.
