Veterans who use their service-related tuition benefits to attend the University of Connecticut (UConn) or send their dependents will no longer face a three-year deadline to enroll under the in-state rate, thanks to a new policy. Now, any qualified veterans and dependents whose legal residency is outside of Connecticut and who use veterans' educational benefits can receive the in-state rate at any time after discharge — even many years later. For more information, contact the Office of Veteran Affairs and Military Programs at the University of Connecticut. It is located in Arjona Room 345, and can also be reached via email at Veterans@uconn.edu, by telephone at 860-486-2442, or at the UConn Veterans Affairs and Military Programs webpage at http://veterans.uconn.edu.
