The Coast Guard is offering free electronic tax filing service via CG Support. This service is only applicable to Coast Guard (CG) Active Duty members, Selected Reserve members, civilian employees, and dependents. Assistance is available at many Coast Guard Legal Offices, military Legal Assistance Offices, and at various units through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Most Coast Guard Legal Offices and unit tax advisers offer this free service by appointment only.
