Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder is seeking nominations for the 2016 Lieutenant Governor's Veterans Service Award, created to recognize Missouri veterans who provide volunteer service to their communities. The deadline for nominations is May 7. Winners will be selected from across the state on Memorial Day, May 30. To be considered for the award, individuals must have served or currently be serving in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and volunteer a minimum of 25 hours per year.
