The Navy has extended the deadline for sailors and their families living in public-private housing to complete a resident satisfaction survey. The new deadlines are May 9 for those living in privatized family housing units in the U.S. or unaccompanied housing units in San Diego and Norfolk; June 6 for those in family housing overseas; and June 20 for those in all other unaccompanied housing. The Navy oversees 116,000 housing units but, as of April 30, fewer than half of all occupants had responded. The surveys are being conducted by an independent third party, CEL & Associates, and take about 10 minutes to complete. Participants will remain anonymous unless they choose to identify themselves.
