The Marine Corps issued guidance to help troops prepare for the peak military move season, mid-May through August, when most permanent change-of-station moves take place. The service is partnering with the Navy to conduct counseling webinars for families executing PCS moves. The webinar schedule is available on the Navy website, according to a recent release. The Marine Corps also urged troops and families to complete a customer satisfaction survey (CSS) following each shipment to reflect the quality of the moving company. This will eliminate poor performers and ensure that the highest-quality companies get the most shipments. During 2018, only 28 percent of Marine Corps-sponsored shipments received a CSS score, officials said, the second-lowest feedback rate of any military service. Read more at Marines.mil.
