Your new job, as of Day One in the civilian world, is to find your next job. Begin by focusing on Introspection and Personal Branding. What do you have to offer that sets you apart? What am I passionate about? Be sure you have the right tools to look for a job: personal business cards, an updated resume, the right wardrobe for a job search, and the computer/software tools to successfully research and contact the companies you are going to approach. Then, develop a network of contacts by asking others to help you, letting them know you need help. Also, research the companies you are interested in.
