The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is recruiting veterans and promoting on-the-spot job offers to qualified veterans looking for jobs in law enforcement, mission support, program and budget analysis, contracting and chemical security. The National Protection and Programs Directorate hiring event is scheduled for April 5 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Fort Belvoir Community Center, Fort Belvoir, Va.
