TRICARE's dental coverage is separate from its medical coverage and your enrollment eligibility determines which dental program you can have. The TRICARE Active Duty Dental Program (ADDP) is for active duty servicemembers and National Guard and Reserve members activated for more than 30 consecutive days. The TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) is for eligible active duty family members, survivors, National Guard and Reserve members and their family members and members of the Individual Ready Reserve and their family members. The TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP) is for retirees and their eligible family members as well as National Guard and Reserve members who, regardless of age, has transferred to Retired Reserve status.
