A Hiring Our Heroes career fair will be held in conjunction with the 100th American Legion National Convention in Minneapolis. The transition and benefits career fair will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 28 in the Marquette Ballroom at Hilton Minneapolis, which is adjacent to the Minneapolis Convention Center. Registration for the free event will open soon on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation website. Also scheduled that day will be employment workshops covering civilian resumes, federal resumes and financial literacy. Those workshops will begin at 9 a.m. In the Hilton’s Minneapolis Ballroom, Salon C.
