A two-man Army explosive ordnance disposal team recently beat out two others and will go on to compete for Department of the Army team of the year. A team from 74th Ordnance Company, 303rd Ordnance Battalion, 8th MP Brigade, was named EOD team of the year in late January at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, following a week-long competition at various locations around Oahu. EOD team leader Staff Sgt. Xavier Steinhart and team member Sgt. Benjamin Livesay will train together for the next five months to prepare for the Army Team of the Year competition in Virginia later this year.
