American Legion National Commander Denise Rohan recently submitted a letter to Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin urging the secretary and his department to support an FDA-Approved Marijuana/PTSD research study taking place at the Scottsdale Research Institute in Arizona. In August, the doctor facilitating the study, Dr. Sue Sisley, asked members of the Legion's Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Division to express their support for her study. The National Commander's letter is available on the American Legion website. For more information on the study, visit the MAPS website, the Medical Cannabis.com website, and follow Dr. Sisley on Facebook.
