The Air Force has expanded the Voluntary Limited Period of Active Duty (VLPAD) program, adding 51 additional Air Force specialty codes for select air reserve component officers. Reserve and Air National Guard Airmen from select Air Force officer and enlisted specialties may now serve on active duty in vacant positions for three years and one day.
