The 350th Battlefield Airmen Training Squadron has implemented a nine-week preparatory course after Basic Military Training for all Battlefield Airmen candidates. The prep course was added to reduce attrition rates and create a more resilient candidate. The course addresses holistic health, improving performance in the training environment and setting up candidates for success. The data collected during the course assists course instructors in planning and implementing future training. Students also receive training for the daily tasks needed for success including nutrition, day-to-day communication skills and general life skills. Students also receive mentorship from experienced instructors.
