This is exploding all over the web -- Heckler & Koch has a new 5.56mm rifle – the HK433.
The Firearmblog has a nice spread on H&K’s newest addition to its tactical rifle line that includes the G36 and 416.
The HK433 features multiple barrel lengths that can be changed out by the user and ambidextrous controls for right and left hand shooters.
It has a Non-reciprocating charging handle with integrated forward assist. The upper receiver has a full length STANAG rail in 12 o'clock position and a Picatinny rail on the 6 o'clock position.
The 433 has a folding stock that can be adjusted for length and a cheek weld that can be adjusted for height. The weapon is usable with the stock folded.
