StatGear has taken the tacticool pen concept and loaded it up with features for the first responder. The new EMS Tek-Tool features a threaded top that unscrews to reveal a steel window punch and oxygen tank wrench. The other end of the tool houses a slide-out, 440c stainless steel hook for cutting seatbelts.
The top for the window-breaker punch doubles as a stylus for your iPad or smartphone if you really want to look hardcore when you're sipping on your latte in Starbucks. The body is anodized aluminum. It's 5 inches long and weighs 2 ounces.
StatGear also makes the T3 Tactical Auto Rescue Tool, which is getting pretty good reviews on the company's website.
The EMS Tek-Tool is scheduled to be released on Sept. 18 and will cost about $25 each.
