QUANTICO Marine Base, Va. -- Elite Defense is now offering a Low Profile Tether Mount for dummy-cording all those expensive toys to your weapon. It stays in place with locking Helicoils that prevent screws from backing out from recoil or vibration, Elite Defense officials said at Modern Day Marine 2013.
The tether mount has four anchor points for attaching 550 cord or heavy gauge wire. When you need to remove your optic, just unlock the mount instead of having to untie or cut your dummy cords.
They retail for $25.
