Panteao Productions is making some of its Make Ready titles availabe in Blu-ray. The first three will be Make Ready with Pat Rogers: Basic Carbine, Make Ready with Travis Haley: Adaptive Carbine, and Make Ready with Paul Howe: Tac Pistol/Rifle Operator. The Blu-rays will be shipping starting March 20th. Fernando Coelho, HMFIC at Panteao, advises additional titles will be available soon.
If you're not familiar with Panteao's DVDs (and streaming content) I've embedded a quick overview below. I wasn't sure initially if I'd like them or not. Obviously no amount of DVD watching will replace training on the range or in the shoothouse (which I should say Coelho himself repeats insistently), this is a great and economical way to get some perspective, input or background from some very good instructors. I've watched several of them now, and while sometimes it gets tedious those times are easily counterbalanced by the times I pick something up. Check them out, whether to get a look at a course you're going to take, to refresh what you learned in a course you did take or just to see what one of the SMEs has to say.
Here's a preview of their most recent release featuring Paul Howe. (Note: this one is a documentary rather than a training video.)
Here is the overview I mentioned:
From the site:
Panteao is Portuguese for Pantheon, which means "a temple or place for the gods" or "a group of persons most highly regarded for contributions to a field or endeavor". The name is fitting since Panteao Productions produces instructional videos taught by highly regarded instructors from our industry.
Now instead of you going to the instructor, the instructor comes to you! You get to learn in a one-on-one training format. It's like having them as your own personal trainers, teaching you step-by-step. The name of our instructional video series is "Make Ready".
Regardless of your experience level, Panteao has training courses for you. Plus, we continue to introduce more training, more instructors, and other exclusive content you won't find anywhere else.
Panteao also offers a documentary series of videos. They cover competitive shooting sports, firearm history, and more.
From the Panteao website you have the choice of purchasing the Panteao videos on DVD or viewing them online via streaming video when you want and as often as you want.
