11 Series is reporting that Orlando FL based Black Forge Weapons is working with lifestyle apparel brand Risk Takers and ParaPatriot of Texas to present a cobranded collaborative M4, and are now accepting pre-orders. The semi-automatic, Black Forge LLC built 5.56mm rifle will be 16.5" long, direct gas impingement with a lifetime warranty.
The upper receiver will include an A2 cage flash hider with a 16.5" M4 barrel (1:7) and an F-Marked A2 front sight post gas block. The barrel will be 4150 Chromoly Vanadium steel; the flat top A3 upper, 7075 T6 aluminum with milspec 1913 Pic rails and M4 feed ramps, double shield M4 handguard, M16 auto/AR LEO bolt carrier group and MagPul MBUS Gen 2 rear flip-up sights.
The lower receiver will be 7075 T6 branded lower receivers with Black Forge logo, Risk Takers branded ejection port door and 6-pos collapsible stock with milspec buffer tube.
The package will also come with a ParaPatriot rifle sling, a "Come and Take It" t-shirt, a 30-round MagPul PMAG, Hoppes Boresnake and "machine gunners lube".
They will be making 20 of these rifles in the limited run, which will sell for $849.95 each ($869.95 to make it CA legal, with bullet button and 10-round magazine).
