MagPul PMAG 30 M3
Hanging out with the guys over at the MagPul booth, they showed me the new generation of the PMAG. They’ve been working on it for about 2 years and should launch this spring. The new mag is made of a much stronger plastic and will be available with a new low profile base plate. This should address the only downfalls to the original … the potential weakness at the base of the round which can split, and the wider base plate that can make for a tight fit with some dual mag pouches.
They also added a more aggressive grip texture, a redesigned bolt catch and offers more weapons compatibility including the HK 416.
