The Taser C2 ECD
I'm a big believer in Directed Energy products (sound, laser and electricity) and that they are the future weapons of the 21st Century. I know of one Defense company that has a laser that will destroy ground targets from 40,000 feet up.
Taser has long been an innovator in Neuro Muscular Incapacitation with their trademarked Shaped Pulse Technology. I've heard from a few friends that you can actually beat the system if you react quickly enough.
I carried a lesser known stun gun when I was on VBSS (Visit, Board, Search & Siezure) Ops in the Persian Gulf. I used it occasionally when handling prisoners in the rare case someone got out of line and needed a "tune up". Nothing like a few thousand volts on a wet steel deck to get the point across....The YouTube video below is a good example of the police version in use. You can see the laser on the guys back just before he gets whacked.
