I just ran across this photo of a Soldier from the UK's 1st Mercian which just took over a base south of Gereshk in Helmand province. (The Afghan kid sure seems to dig 'em)...
Looks as if it ain't just the Brit commandos who've gotten their Crye-designed duds, but the boys from Catterick as well.
And oh, according to an MOD release on the handover, none other than a brigade advisory team of the 1st Battalion Gurkha Rifles will be working alongside 1st Mercian to help train the Afghan army detachment based there.
