WATCH: New Footage of the Navy's Futuristic Destroyer

The U.S. Navy's futuristic destroyer, the USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000), is seen at sea during acceptance trials in this April 21 video released by the manufacturer, General Dynamics Corp. The guided-missile destroyer based in San Diego is the lead ship of the Zumwalt class and the first ship to be named for the late Adm. Elmo Zumwalt. Featuring superior stealth technology, the ship has a radar cross-section akin to a fishing boat despite her 600-foot length.
