Remembering 9/11

The sky is just as blue over the Pentagon this morning as it was Sept. 11, 2001.

It's impossible to forget the horrors of 9/11 started with a morning as perfect as the one we have today in the nation's capital. In the eleven years since Al Qaeda's attack on America, the country and its military has changed.

U.S. troops have served continuous deployments since, whether it be to Afghanistan or Iraq, making untold sacrifices in blood and time spent away from their families.

Today is the time to remember the victims who perished on 9/11. Since this blog focuses a great deal on the Pentagon and its inner workings, we felt it appropriate to remember the names of the people who died when a jet liner slammed into the five-sided hub of the U.S. military.

Below are the names of the 184 identified victims, civilian and military, who died in the Pentagon eleven years ago.
