Veteran Discounts Spotlight: Travel

FacebookTwitterPinterestEmailEmailEmailShare

Many veterans are disappointed to find that advertised military discounts leave them out. To help veterans find discounts, we put together a series of articles featuring discounts that include veterans.

The following discounts for veterans revolve around travel.

Please keep in mind that for most of these discounts, you will need your DD-214 to confirm your military status as a veteran. In some cases you might require an additional membership.

Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises has grown to become one of the premiere cruise lines in the world that carries more than a million passengers each year to more worldwide destinations than any other major line.

Princess Cruises offers up to $250 free onboard spending money for veterans. This special military benefit is eligible on any cruise, any time of the year and can be used to purchase a wide variety of amenities and experiences.

Sandals

Sandals provides luxury all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. Every Sandals resort sits directly on a beach on six islands: Jamaica, the Bahamas, St. Lucia, Antigua, Grenada and Barbados.

Military veterans receive an additional 10% savings on current promotions when you purchase a Sandals Luxury All Inclusive vacation. Proof of discharge certificate required upon check-in at the resort.
