Video: Super Hornets Launch Ahead of ISIL Strikes

The Navy has released its latest round of video of F/A-18 Super Hornets launching from a U.S. carrier on missions to strike Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant militant targets. The Super Hornets are launching from the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier operating in the Persian Gulf.

Navy Super Hornets and Air Force MQ-1 Predators have run multiple strike missions to take out ISIL positions and weaponry since President Obama authorized military strikes in Iraq to support humanitarian mission and protect U.S. personnel and interests.
