I saw this great photo of the space shuttle Endeavour's final landing in Florida gracing the front page of the New York Times today when I made my morning coffee run. Beneath the pic was the caption: "Engineers are scavenging parts before the shuttles go on display."
This leaves one last mission by the shuttle Atlantis before the iconic fleet is retired forever.
