Surface-to-air missile launchers have been reinstalled around the Washington, D.C. area, WTOP radio reports.
Last put in place during the terror scare surrounding the 9/11 anniversary, the air defenses include so-called "Avenger" systems eight Stinger missiles mounted on a Humvee.
