Salma Hayek hopes to help bring a missing soldier home.
The film star shared an Instagram post to increase awareness about the disappearance of Vanessa Guillen, who was last seen on April 22 at the Army’s Fort Hood military base in Killeen, Texas.
Hayek’s post last week included information about Guillen’s disappearance, along with a pledge to share a photo of the 20-year-old soldier on her Instagram story every day until she is found.
“Bring Us Back Vanessa,” the post reads.
The “Like A Boss” actress, 53, included the hashtags #vanessaguillen and #findvanessaguillen in the caption, and tagged @findvanessaguillen, an Instagram account dedicated to locating the missing soldier.
Guillen, who is part of the Third Cavalry Regiment, is a native of Houston.
The Army has offered a $15,000 reward for information that helps them find Guillen.
“Her car keys, barracks room key, identification card and wallet were later found in the armory room where she was working earlier in the day,” the Army Command said in April. “She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and purple fitness-type pants.”
