Coast Guard Brings 11 Tons of Seized Cocaine to San Diego
SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard has brought more than 11 tons of cocaine seized in the eastern Pacific Ocean to San Diego.
The crew of the cutter Stratton offloaded the cocaine in port Wednesday.
The Coast Guard says the cocaine was seized from eight vessels off the coasts of Mexico and Central and South America between late August and mid-September.
The interdictions were carried out by the cutters Stratton, Seneca and Active.
