Little Creek Command Master Chief Relieved

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- Master Chief Petty Officer Yves Raynaud was relieved Feb. 24 of his duties as command master chief at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. 

The installation's commander, Capt. Frank E. Hughlett, relieved Raynaud due to a loss of confidence in his ability to serve as the command's senior enlisted advisor.

Raynaud, who had been serving in his position since Oct. 7, 2013, has been temporarily reassigned to the staff of Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk, Va. Senior Chief Petty Officer Johnlyn Bolden is serving as the acting command master chief until a permanent relief is identified.
