Syrian Electronic Army Hacks USMC

Skip to the 2:30 mark for the story... The Syrian Electronic Army, which has hacked numerous news websites, most recently the New York Times, is suspected of hacking Marines.com. The collection of hackers supporting the Assad regime are thought to be behind the posting of a letter and images on the website’s front page. The letter, titled “Message to the United States Marine corps,” asks Marines to “please take a look at what your comrades think about Obama’s alliance with Al Qaeda against Syria.” In between the lines of text are pictures of people dressed in U.S. military uniforms holding handwritten signs reading “I will not fight for Al Qaeda” and “I didn’t join the Marine Corps to Fight for Al Qaeda in a Syrian civil war.” Read more at http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2013/09/02/the_syrian_electronic_army_is_suspected_of_u_s_marines_website_hack.html
