Coalition Takes Out Daesh Command Post

Coalition forces carry out an air strike against a Daesh command and control post near Mosul, Iraq. For the past year, a key component of the coalition's comprehensive strategy has been targeted air strikes against Daesh in Iraq and Syria. With more than 9,000 air strikes to date, coalition air operations have been successful in supporting friendly forces fighting Daesh on the ground while maintaining pressure on Daesh’s tactical and strategic vulnerabilities.
