Postal worker pays for care package to Afghanistan troops -- It's a random act of kindness that will restore your faith in humanity. A postal worker footed the bill to ship care packages overseas for a woman he had just met.Christina Morancie went to the post office to mail two care packages to her stepson's unit in Afghanistan. Today on Fox and Friends, she described the moment when postal worker Gardner Chamberlain told her that he had paid for the postage price. "I did notice that he had reached into his pocket and had taken out a money clip. I really wasn't paying a whole lot of attention. [...] He handed me the receipt and told me that I was all set." Chamberlain, a veteran, said, "I had overheard her talking about how she and her friends had put these care packages together. So I said well, I can do a little bit and help a little bit more, so I just paid for the postage." It turns out, this isn't the first time Chamberlain has done something like this. He's paid for the postage of soldier care packages before and plans on doing so in the future. Morancie said, "It was just what he said to me that brought tears to my eyes because I said you didn't have to pay for this, and he said well you know what, he's over there and we're over here. And that just yanked at my heart."
