Biker Hits 106mph in LA Cop Chase

A motorcyclist has led police on a high speed chase along several freeways in California only stopping when he rode into a construction site and jumped off his bike. A news helicopter followed the rider's progress and he could be seen to be weaving in and out of traffic just inches from vehicle doors. As the motorcyclist sped ahead reaching speeds of more than 100mph he waved his hands at police who tried to keep up. The pursuit came to an abrupt end when the biker rode onto a dirt road that was part of a construction site. He then lost his balance on the uneven ground. Two California Highway Patrol officers have arrested him.
