North Korean state-run television has released video of soldiers training military dogs and conducting firing drills, in what is being interpreted as further provocation of neighbouing South Korea. It comes as the North, angry about UN sanctions imposed following its third nuclear weapon test in February, has made increasingly strident warnings of an imminent war with South Korea and the US. KRT showed footage of soldiers training dogs to jump over obstacles and maul effigies of South Korean Defence Minister Kim Kwan-jin, whom the North describe as its "enemy number one".
