RAAF C-130 Tail Gets a Makeover

    A colourful art scheme has been applied to the tail of No. 37 Squadron C-130H Hercules (A87- 005) to mark the type's retirement from Air Force service. The scheme depicts a silhouette of a C-130H against the sunset, with the Crest Logos from No. 36 Squadron (Stallion) and No. 37 Squadron (Globe/Winged Water Carrier), representing the two units which have flown the C-130H operationally Air Force operated a fleet of 12 C-130H Hercules from RAAF Base Richmond between 1978 and 2012.
