Watch Military Analysts Prep for the NFL Draft

The NFL draft airs this weekend on ESPN and the NFL Network. Somehow, the NFL has managed to elevate the few days when 32 teams sit in a room and guess which players have what it takes to play pro football to one of the biggest events on the annual sports calendar.

USAA is the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the NFL through the Salute to Service and they're on board with the Draft Day festivities. Earlier this month, they had an Analyst Summit at NFL Films in Mount Laurel, NJ. ESPN NFL analysts Ron Jaworski and Sal Paolantonio (who's a US Navy veteran) met up with a group of military analysts from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. On this special off-site mission, the military analysts got a lesson from the NFL analysts on how to use their use their analytical skills to become NFL Draft analysts. Got it? If you've been following football the last couple of years, you won't be surprised to learn that the Cleveland Browns have the #1 pick in this year's draft. The first round takes place Thursday 4/27 starting at 8pm. Rounds two and three follow on Friday starting at 7pm and rounds 4-7 start Saturday at noon.
