'Drunk History' - How Not to Handle an On-Duty Infidelity Crisis

Comedy Central's Drunk History Season Four is out now on DVD. Host Derek Waters gets comedians drunk and then asks them to tell a story from American history. The show then films actors and comedians acting out the stories and mouthing their dialog along to the original story.

Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote and starred in the Broadway musical Hamilton and Waters recruited him for a Hamilton-only episode this season. Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development) plays Alexander Hamilton and Tony Hale (Arrested Development, VEEP) plays future president James Monroe in this clip. As Secretary of the Treasury, Hamilton was accused of embezzlement from the U.S. government but the backup offered was actually evidence of an extramarital affair. Rather than allowing his accusers to quietly back off, Hamilton is determined to clear his name of stealing by widely publicizing his lies to his wife and seven children.

Season four also includes stories about Andrew Jackson, alcohol prohibition activist Carrie Nation, FDR's dealings with Churchill, how Teddy Roosevelt saved football and the attempted assassination of Eleanor Roosevelt by a Communist sniper.
