Space Peril in 'The Last Days on Mars'

Gravity seems to have reminded everyone how good an old-fashioned outer space movie can be. The Last Days on Mars adds in some World War Z-style infected monsters to create a classic sci-fi "scientists in peril" plot.

Liev Schreiber (most recently seen in the excellent Showtime series Ray Donovan and playing LBJ in Lee Daniels' The Butler) leads a international cast of actors, some of whom were probably good for some financing because investors believed they'd help the box office in their respective home countries.

Mars is getting one released to iTunes and cable on demand this Halloween before getting a proper theatrical release on December 6th.
