A Message From Jessica

Share

Many of you have been following Jessica's story. SpouseBUZZ has received a lot of email and comments from concerned readers over the past few weeks. Last night, Jessica sent a message to our readers and asked that I post it here on SpouseBUZZ.

From Jessica:

I wanted to thank the SpouseBuzz team and the SpouseBuzz readers for their support, thoughts, and prayers.  I've been released from the hospital and am now in the recovery process.  I cannot claim I am "better", but I can say I am doing better than I was.  I was astonished at the outpouring of support and the number of cards and emails I received.  It really made me realize how interconnected we all are.  I was also flabbergasted at how many people commented on my blog or emailed me to say they had similar experiences/thoughts or new of someone who had.  I continued to be flabbergasted at how many people told me they knew of a spouse who had ended her own life.

I will be blogging about some of my experiences and thoughts over the past three weeks on my personal blog.  I will also be talking about some of my recovery.  I figure if anything good can come out of this, we can raise an awareness of mental health and suicide prevention for spouses.

Once again, thank you all for your support!

Keep Jessica in your thoughts and prayers. As I said in the beginning, Jessica is, and always will be, a part of our family.
