Okay, listen because this is a BIG DEAL.
I just fit into a shirt that I haven't been able to wear since SpouseBUZZ Live II in San Diego. Oh yeah, it was the purple one with bling.
And not only did it fit, but it was slightly too big.
And did I mention my pants were slipping down off my butt today?
I do have to admit that I have not been on track this week. While doing the Nikki Fitness dvd on Monday, I let my mind wander and started kicking with wild abandon rather than with the control you are properly supposed to exercise. Silly, silly, SILLY airforcewife.
There was a groin pull issue. Not too bad, because as soon as I felt that tell-tale "twang" I let myself fold up on the floor like a baby throwing a temper tantrum; but it was still a pull.
No kicking going on there for the next couple of sessions. Although only my left leg seemed to be affected, I made a command decision not to be all kicky and gluteally-focused on my right either. The last thing on earth I need is to have one droopy butt cheek and one butt cheek like a bicep.
On the other hand, because I was seeing progress I was afraid to slack off, so I did some extra arm and upper body work. Um, ow. Big ow. But hot darn I was impressed at that hook I seemed to be able to deliver fairly naturally!
Things are working, things are working!
