Finding your new cheese (WHAT?!)

Share

I recently read a great book called "Who Moved My Cheese?" by Kenneth Blanchard.  This book was recommended to me by one of my clients.  At first I chuckled at the title, but after reading the book I was grateful for the recommendation.

As the year 2008 begins, many of you may have made some resolutions.
Some of you may want to stop doing something, some of you may want to
start doing something.  Some of you may just be going about life "as
usual."  Whatever your situation, I encourage you to read this book.
It may not be pertinent to your life now, but at some point in time you
may look back and remember the book and say, "Hey, I want new cheese."
(Ya gotta read the book to get that point).

Personally, I don't have new resolutions for 2008.  I just take life one day at a time.  I always strive to be a better mother, wife, friend, daughter, etc. and a better "Me."  Some days I do well... others, not so much.  Life is hit or miss no matter what you do.  I have definitely learned that in my 32 years on this planet (yes, I just divulged my age and I am OKAY with it!).

If anything, I hope this post made you a bit curious about the book - the title made me curious.  It's a quick, easy read and really had an impact on me and how I view my life - past and present.

I wish you all many blessings in 2008!  And I hope you "find your cheese."  :)
